Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Nova Ember Markets is a Charleston retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of pricing and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
