Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Lumen North Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of pipe repairs and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
