Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Ironwood Timber Learning Group is an education provider in Buffalo serving students and families, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Model the cost of learning materials and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with student accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
