Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Lumen Iron Early Learning runs childcare centres in Boston caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of tuition and subsidies and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
