Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Cedar Hollow Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Tampa, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of usage data and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
