Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Fernwood Vista Financial is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of payment disputes and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with account servicing. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
