Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Bright Drift Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Dallas, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of billing disputes and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
