Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Silverline Bright Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of meter reading and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
