Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Bluepeak Rook Markets Group is a Boston retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of supplier deliveries and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with pricing. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
