Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Redstone Wilder Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Buffalo. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of learning materials and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
