Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Silverline Lakeside Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Raleigh design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Model the cost of service alerts and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
