Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Summit Harbor Telecom provides broadband and phone service around San Diego, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 324 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of customer tickets and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
