Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Amberfield Fern Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Savannah, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 534 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of service alerts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
