Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Bright Linden Civic Services is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for constituent requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of constituent requests and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with public records.
