Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Lumen Pike Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Dallas, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 302 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
