Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Redstone Ember Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Sacramento area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of learning materials and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
