Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Harborlight Fox Insurance is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for catastrophe response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
