Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Nova Rowan Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the New Orleans area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
