Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Nova Ashton Civic Services supports public agencies in El Paso with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 103 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of permits and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
