Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Redstone Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
