Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Ironwood Rowan Civic Services Group provides shared administrative services to local governments around Austin, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with constituent requests. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
