Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Stonegate Bridge Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around St. Louis design routes and schedules, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Model the cost of accessibility audits and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
