Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Nova Meridian Civic Services Group supports public agencies in Las Vegas with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
