Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Lumen Junction Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Orlando, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of policy renewals and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
