Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Northwind Wilder Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Raleigh. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
