Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Raleigh, NC)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Ember Learning Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of enrolment and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
