Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Raleigh, NC)

Cedar Yarrow Transit Planning is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of service alerts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
