Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Raleigh, NC)

Fernwood Granite Markets Group serves neighbourhoods around Raleigh with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 934 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of promotions and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
