Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Raleigh, NC)

Bright Bridge Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Raleigh working with agencies and riders, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 840 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Model the cost of survey data and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
