Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Providence, RI)

Summit Union Legal Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for document review, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 97 people based in Providence. What you will do • Model the cost of document review and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with intake forms. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
