Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Providence, RI)

Silverline Orchard Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Providence. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 105 people based in Providence. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of service connections and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
