Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Amber Insurance and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
