Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Portland, OR)

Northwind Quarry Energy is an energy provider in Portland focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of hardship programmes and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
