Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Pittsburgh, PA)

Silverline Fern Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Pittsburgh working with agencies and riders, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of ridership counts and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
