Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Philadelphia, PA)

Ironwood Haven Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Philadelphia, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of meal programmes and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with classroom supplies. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
