Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Omaha, NE)

Fernwood Lakeside Telecom is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for outage reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of outage reports and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
