Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Omaha, NE)

Silverline Systems produces packaged foods at its Omaha plant. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 7 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of cold storage and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
