Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Omaha, NE)

Rivermark Kestrel Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Omaha, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 106 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
