Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Oakland, CA)

Stonegate Junction Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Oakland, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
