Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Sable Financial and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of payment disputes and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with vendor spend. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
