Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Juniper Civic Services Partners and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 111 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of public records and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with procurement. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
