Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Cross Foods and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of sanitation schedules and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
