Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (New Orleans, LA)

Greenridge Ember Water Authority is a public water utility serving the New Orleans area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
