Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (New Orleans, LA)

Bluepeak Wren Telecom is a telecommunications provider in New Orleans focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of outage reports and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
