Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (New Orleans, LA)

Bluepeak West Civic Services is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for public records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of public records and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with constituent requests. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
