Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Miami, FL)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Thistle Insurance Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 863 people based in Miami. What you will do • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
