Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Miami, FL)

Westbrook Fern Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around Miami design routes and schedules, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Miami. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of ridership counts and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
