Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Miami, FL)

Foxglove Lantern Insurance is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for catastrophe response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Miami. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
