Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Summit Fern Energy Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Madison. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of usage data and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
