Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Madison, WI)

Cedar Linden Legal Group is a law firm in Madison serving businesses and individuals. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Model the cost of billing records and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with trust accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
